Going Beyond Swachh

Problem

  • 25 % of Govt schools don’t have functioning toilet.
  • Almost 30% of adolescent girls do not go to school during their period because they lack clean and affordable protection.
  • This all adds up to higher dropout rates in schools, not to mention higher incidence of diarrhoea amongst children.
